Nick Lee

Nicholas K. Lee grew up in the family sign shop and spent a lot of time watching and learning the trade. After graduating from Portland State University with a B.A. in Communication Studies he joined his father in helping run Studio Signs.

Nick is highly knowledgeable in computer graphic design but his true passion is learning the traditional sign painting techniques. Much of his free time is spent studying and practicing letter forms, brush lettering, and gilding skills.

Lee was born in Portland, OR and is of Chinese and Swedish descent. Besides sign painting, Nick is heavily involved in Kung fu and Chinese Lion Dance.
